One simple message has clearly been on my mind the last few weeks …
We can always start again.
Every day is a new day.
And … isn’t that the message of Jesus?
We don’t need to live in the past, in regrets and mistakes. He came to this earth to give us a NEW, full, abundant life.
And perhaps you’re thinking what I’m thinking … it’s time we stepped into that new life. Completely.
It’s time that we accepted His love and forgiveness.
It’s time that we anticipate God’s goodness.
So. From my heart to yours …
It’s a new day.
And always, we can begin again.
Living in regrets keeps your heart messed up, and you can’t live fully in today. You will miss God’s best for your life.
Fretting about unfinished work or mistakes keeps your mind believing lies, and you can’t focus on the truth. The truth that gives you freedom.
God never intended for us to live outside of His peace. His companionship. Love. Forgiveness.
So, how about this …
If you’re feeling outside of God’s presence, missing His rest, and you’re tired of the lies that are circling like vultures inside your head, pause what you’re doing. (Yeah, right now.)
Whisper, “Yes, God, I want you. Meet me here. Show me the lies I’m believing that need to be replaced by your truth. Show me how to begin again.”
It’s a new day.
We can begin again.
Lamentations 3:22-23
“God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out,
his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.
They’re created new every morning.” (MSG)
“The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each day.” (NLT)

Those are some of my favorite verses. I especially like them in those translations.

Those verses fill me with hope and encouragement too, Nancy. We can cling to His promises!
Blessings on your week, my friend.
