You know those days when everything seems to be going great?…
You get at least two things checked off your to-do list.
Your children are loving instead of argumentative.
Your favorite jeans fit…
It is easy to know God is in control on those days, isn’t it?
We feel His love, trust His guidance, and are assured of His presence.
It’s on those other days that we so easily doubt…
The diagnosis is cancer.
Your child is stumbling in decision making.
You’re so tired you just want to cry.
Here’s the deal…
God is always on The Throne.
On the good days. AND on the not-so-good days.
He has not changed.
His promises have not changed.
He is still showing up with His love, His guidance, His presence.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
“I the Lord do not change.” (Malachi 3:6)
So what does that mean for us?
We trust the God Who Does Not Change.
We trust the Almighty King who is on The Throne.
Whatever the day brings…
We thank Him. We praise Him. We worship Him.
And we ask Him to reveal his presence to us.
We ask Him to meet us – right where we are.
