God, Girlfriends, & Chocolate
Life is a journey. As we travel we experience open roads, beautiful rest stops, and detours and potholes. The road can be a bit bumpy sometimes! What can make the journey to our divine destination more hope-filled and fun-filled? Sharing the trip with God, girlfriends, and chocolate!
Let’s experience the journey, rather than just going along for the ride. We will study God’s word, laugh, and reflect as we find the clarity, make the choices, and celebrate the confidence that comes from living fully responsive to God’s love and faithfulness.
Once Upon a Time: Living a faith-filled life in a fiction-focused world
Good grief. If reality TV, personal insecurities, and your neighbor’s expectations frame how you live your life, you’ll be very confused…and tired! It’s not always easy to show up authentically in a world that demands so much. And yet, your heart wants to know that you make a difference. You want to know that your life matters…that your story is good enough…and that the “ideal woman” has many definitions. With humor, stories, and passion, Gaye will remind you that a “life of significance” is intended for each of us. You’ll laugh, reflect, and laugh some more as you celebrate your story.
Help! There’s a Hole in My Life Jacket!
You know you are loved by an Almighty God. You know you were created for a divine purpose. But what happens when the ship takes on water — and you have to bail? What do you do when your life jacket doesn’t fit? Your energy has gone over board? And there’s only one oar to row with? Whether you’re enjoying “Peace Like a River” or seeking a “Bridge Over Troubled Waters,” you will appreciate Gaye’s humor and encouragement as she reminds you of the peace that can only come from Jesus, the Captain of our Souls.
Memo from God: Let me worry about it
Life is filled with ups and downs, peaks and valleys. You relish those moments of “Things are good,” stress about the situations that make you anxious, and have a complete meltdown when you have a bad hair day, you’ve gained 10 pounds, and you can’t find a thing to wear to your high school reunion. And then there are the big-time fears. Sometimes unfounded…sometimes they become reality. How do you stop worrying when life has become a bit overwhelming? When the things you’re worried about are a much bigger deal than fitting into your favorite jeans? Join Gaye as she shares stories, tools, and resources for moving from worry…to a place of peace.
Life with Purpose: What’s next?
Who am I? Why am I here? What’s next?
Your answers to these three questions can transform your life and your work.
This workshop/coaching session will help you discover your answers, and create a plan for your What’s next? You will develop a written statement of purpose, create your vision of What’s next, and build an action plan for pursuing it. This is a 2-8 hour workshop or weekend retreat. It’s based on Laurie Beth Jones’ best-selling book, The Path: Creating Your Mission Statement for Work and for Life.
