See Him Who is Invisible

The flipping of the calendar page reminds me that days have passed…new days are ahead.

Celebrations, decisions, disappointments from the yesterdays…
they are now part of what was.
I am most interested in what will be.

I wonder where we will travel, what we will do, as the calendar pages turn?

It’s hard to ignore the reminders that tell us to make sure to plan, set goals, set our course.
I find some good nuggets in that advice…
And it makes me nuts.

It’s way too easy for me to focus on the task, rather than on the Faith needed to live my life.

And then…
This morning I read Hebrews 11:1…

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”

I read…
Confidence…in God’s plan.
Expectation…that He will do what He has promised.

Love that.
And…how do I live that out in each moment?

I got to verse 27 and my heart did a little flip

This is how I do the next few days, weeks, months…

“By faith, [Moses]…persevered because he saw him who is invisible.”

I keep my eyes on HIM.

It is only by keeping my attention, my focus, my vision on HIM that I find the strength, the hope, the peace to joyfully move in rhythm with those calendar pages.

It is in seeing HIM that I find, feel, know the delight in making each moment, each day count.

Isn’t that beautiful?
It feels so…right.

Seeing Him who is invisible…
What a gift.
