National Speakers Association | Gaye Lindfors Member of the Year

The National Speakers Association-Minnesota Chapter recently bestowed its top three achievement awards at its recent gala and awards banquet.

Gaye Lindfors, professional speaker, author, and business advisor, www.GayeLindfors.com, earned Member of the Year honors. Lindfors, of Vadnais Heights, uses humor, observations of life in the real world, and her 25 years in leadership positions with Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations to help people focus on what matters most. She is the author of God, Girlfriends and Chocolate: Encouraging Stories from the Heart and Find a Job: The Little Book for BIG SUCCESS.

This award, voted on by chapter members, goes to a member who has contributed significantly to the MN chapter. Lindfors is the outgoing president of that chapter.

Dr. Amy Tolbert, CSP, founder of ECCO International, earned the Mark LeBlanc Award, in recognition of her long-term and highly significant contribution to the growth and vitality of the Minnesota chapter of the National Speakers Association.

Dr. Tolbert, of St. Paul, consults and trains internationally in the areas of multicultural competency development, increasing influence in organizations, managing within a diverse workforce, motivation and leadership skills.

Tim Cimbura, award-winning speaker, entertainer, and technology expert, was awarded the chapter’s Volunteer of the Year for volunteering above and beyond the level expected of a member.

Cimbura, of Minneapolis, shares an inspiring message entitled “Child at Heart,” which incorporates amazing entertainment to bring breakthrough ideas, fun and inspiration to events.

Prolific author and noted speaker Ross Bernstein, www.RossBernstein.com, earned the Next Level Award for moving his business significantly forward in the past year.

The Eagan native is the best-selling author of nearly 50 sports books and travels extensively as an inspirational business speaker. His signature program, “The Champion’s Code,” is all about helping organizations think and act more like champions. Ross and his books have been featured on thousands of television and radio programs over his career.

The awards were presented during NSA Minnesota’s May Gala & Awards Banquet.
